Retractable Feed Nozzle System
The Retractable Feed Nozzle System (designed and manufactured by BlueSky) injects the bitumen stream into the tailing solvent recovery unit vessel to extract the solvents. By allowing on-the fly replacement of worn feed spray nozzles, the Retractable Feed Nozzle System meets the client's objective of eliminating down-time experienced when servicing the feed spray nozzles.
The system's construction features a combination of Silicon Carbide spray nozzle, Chrome Carbide pipe overlays, and Chrome plated cylinders for exceptional wear-resistance and erosion protection.
